
The public has been urged to take caution due to the recent cholera epidemic in several areas of Nigeria by the National Biosafety Management Agency.
In a statement released on Friday in Abuja, the Director-General of the NBMA, Dr. Agnes Asagbra, was cited by Head of Information and Communications for the organization, Mrs. Gloria Ogbaki, as adding that caution was required.
Asagbra stated that Nigerians should use caution because the country has 30 confirmed instances of the disease and 1,141 suspected cases.
“It is crucial that we put our communities’ health and safety first as the Salah celebrations get near.
