Dangote To Expand Refinery Storage Capacity By 600 Million Litres

The capacity of its refinery storage has been significantly increased, as reported by the Dangote Group.

Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, revealed the expansion during his speech at the Afreximbank Annual Meetings and AfriCaribbean Trade & Investment Forum in Nassau, Bahamas.

With a storage capacity of 4.78 billion litres at present, the Dangote Petrochemical Refinery is expected to add 600 million litres to this amount, making the total capacity an amazing 5.3 billion litres.

This development strengthens the refinery’s position as a critical reserve for the country and demonstrates Dangote’s commitment to making Nigeria a centre for refined petroleum products.

It is extremely risky that the nation lacks strategic gasoline stockpiles. However, we had just 4.78 billion litres of different tankage capacity in our factory when you arrived. However, Dangote confirmed, “We’re adding another 600 million right now.”
