Due to purported inconsistencies and corruption that tarnished the list of qualified applicants in the current 2022–2023 police constable recruitment, the Nigeria Police Force has rejected the Police Service Commission’s recruiting list.
This comes after a barrage of grievances from stakeholders and rejected candidates regarding the vanishing identities of those who passed the screening process and advanced to the next round.
ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, said in a news release on Saturday that examination of the released list uncovered multiple irregularities.
He claimed that “a number of names purportedly belonging to successful candidates are actually those of people who did not even apply and thus did not participate in the recruitment process.”
