Nigeria and China have been in economic contact for fifty years, and the Federal Government has pledged to further enhance them.

China’s backing for Nigeria’s increased visibility in the G20, UN Security Council, and the international organization of emerging economies, which includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (BRICS) was warmly received by the President.
Tinubu commended President Xi Jinping for consistently strengthening relations with Nigeria and Africa.
