Nigeria and China have been in economic contact for fifty years, and the Federal Government has pledged to further enhance them.
According to a statement released on Thursday by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Advisor to the President, President Bola Tinubu provided the guarantee on Thursday in Abuja while meeting with Chen Xiaodong, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.
China’s backing for Nigeria’s increased visibility in the G20, UN Security Council, and the international organization of emerging economies, which includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (BRICS) was warmly received by the President.
Tinubu commended President Xi Jinping for consistently strengthening relations with Nigeria and Africa.
