On Monday, organized labour expressed joy and called for a swift implementation of the new National Minimum Wage Act, which President Bola Tinubu signed into law.
The Nigeria Labour Congress’s Head of Public Affairs, Benjamin Upah, said, “We are happy and urge the government to sustain the same momentum in the calculation of consequential adjustments, payment of the new minimum wage, and arrears.”
