Seven persons have been confirmed dead in a building collapse at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Abdulrahman Mohammed, the acting Director General of the FCT Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), disclosed this when he inspected the collapse site along the airport road of the nation’s capital on Sunday.
He explained that the incident on Saturday was due to some persons trying to scavage remnants of materials from the building that the Federal Capital Development Control was demolishing due to the ingenuity of land papers.
