Tax Reform Bills Will Lessen Burden Of Hardworking Nigerians – NOA

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has said that the tax reform bills before the National Assembly will lessen the burden on Nigerians while also protecting the less privileged.

NOA Director General, Lanre Issa-Onilu, stated this in Abeokuta on Wednesday.

“By supporting this effort, we can create a tax system that works for all and funds the development projects that will improve our nation,” he said.

“Today, we are commencing a nationwide mobilization of Nigerians to unite in our commitment to addressing these pressing issues and fostering a more informed, secure, and ethical society.

Represented by the Ogun State Director of the Agency, Funke Salako, the NOA boss assured that the tax bills will require the cooperation of all Nigerians to make it a success

The challenges before us require collective action and active participation from all Nigerians.

According to him, the bills are the Nigeria Tax Bill, the Nigeria Tax Administration Bill, the Nigeria Revenue Service Establishment Bill, and the Joint Revenue Board Establishment Bill.
