FULL TEXT: Rivers Assembly’s Accusation Against Fubara, Deputy

The Rivers State House of Assembly has accused Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Ngozi Odu, of gross misconduct.

The allegation was raised in a letter sent to Speaker Martin Amaewhule, signed by twenty-six members of the House. They accuse the governor of mismanaging public funds in a reckless and unconstitutional manner, obstructing the work of the Rivers State House of Assembly, and making appointments to government positions without adhering to the necessary screening and confirmation processes, among other claims.
