Breaking: Court grants Portable N1m bail in Saheed Osupa defamation suit

Controversial singer Okikiola Badmus, widely known as Portable, has been granted bail by an Upper Area Court in Ilorin, Kwara State, in the sum of ₦1 million.

This comes after his arraignment on multiple charges, including criminal defamation, intimidation, incitement of public unrest, and cyberstalking.

The court set conditions for his bail, requiring two sureties of the same amount. One must be either the Chairman or Secretary of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), while the other must own landed property within a Government Reserved Area (GRA), with a valid Certificate of Occupancy as proof.
