Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has announced another review of its ex-depot (gantry) loading price for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol.
Dangote Refinery has reduced the price of diesel to N835 per litre, down from N865, a 3.5% decrease after six days at the previous rate.
The company announced the price adjustment to its customers via an official notice issued on Wednesday.
This marks the third price reduction by the refinery in under six weeks. Before this, the price had dropped from N880 to N865 per litre. However, that reduction did not translate to lower pump prices, as many oil marketers did not pass the savings on to consumers.
