Dominant Liverpool Seal 2024/25 EPL Title with Emphatic 5-1 Win Over Tottenham

Liverpool secured their first Premier League title since 2020 with a commanding 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield, marking their second league title in 35 years.

With four games left in the season, the Reds are now 15 points ahead of second-placed Arsenal and are level with Manchester United for the most top-flight titles in English history.

The victory, which came under sunny skies and a charged atmosphere, was met with massive celebrations as Liverpool fans, who were deprived of a full celebration during their 2020 title win due to the pandemic, poured into Anfield.

Tottenham briefly threatened with a header from Dominic Solanke, but Liverpool responded quickly with goals from Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister, and Cody Gakpo to take control. Mohamed Salah added a fourth with a brilliant strike, followed by an own goal from Spurs’ Destiny Udogie to round off the 5-1 scoreline.

Liverpool’s win leaves them on 82 points, while Tottenham’s struggles continue as they sit 16th in the Premier League.
