The Federal Ministry of Livestock Development is set to recruit 37,000 youth and women from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as part of its plan to boost commercial livestock production in Nigeria.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Livestock Development, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, during a workshop aimed at outlining strategies for the successful implementation of the Presidential Initiative on Youth and Women in Livestock Development.
The initiative is expected to enhance employment, empower marginalized groups, and improve productivity within the livestock sector.
