Vice President Kashim Shettima has inaugurated the rehabilitated and expanded Danbaba Suntai Airport in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital.
Vice President Kashim Shettima inaugurated the airport shortly after arriving in Jalingo at around 10:17 a.m. on Wednesday, ahead of the Taraba International Investment Summit 2025.
The summit, themed “Unlocking Taraba’s Investment Potentials – Advancing Agriculture, Energy, Mining and Industrialisation (AEMI) for Sustainable Growth and Development”, is being held today in the state capital.
Designed to highlight Taraba State’s rich resources, the summit aims to attract both local and international investors by showcasing opportunities in the agriculture, energy, and mining sectors.
Shettima is attending the summit on behalf of President Bola Tinubu.
He was warmly received by Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas, Deputy Governor Aminu Alkali, as well as the Chairman of the Aliko Dangote Foundation and President/CEO of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, alongside other senior state officials.
