The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has revealed that the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) will undergo a scheduled maintenance shutdown starting today.
In a statement issued by Olufemi O. Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd, the company confirmed that the maintenance and a sustainability assessment will be carried out as planned.
Soneye noted that NNPC Ltd is working in close coordination with key stakeholders, including the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), to ensure the process is conducted efficiently and transparently.
The statement further emphasized NNPC Ltd’s ongoing commitment to ensuring sustainable energy security in Nigeria. Regular updates will be shared through the company’s official website, media outlets, and public communications.
