The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) said it has added 5,910 megavolt-amperes (MVA) of transformer capacity to the national grid.
Aminu Tahir, General Manager of Project Coordination and Technical Assistant to the MD/CEO of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), disclosed recent project updates during a presentation on initiatives under the Project Management Unit (PMU).
Tahir stated that the PMU is currently implementing projects financed by the World Bank, Agence Française de Développement (AFD), and the African Development Bank (AfDB). He also noted that the procurement process for Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)-funded projects in Lagos and Ogun States is nearing completion.
