President Tinubu has emphasized that the NDDC must guide youths in the Niger Delta away from violence and instead channel their energy into entrepreneurship through meaningful engagement.
Speaking at the grand finale of the NDDC’s 25th anniversary in Port Harcourt on Saturday, Tinubu—represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume—highlighted the commission’s vital role in the region’s economic development.
He stressed that beyond physical infrastructure, the NDDC should focus more on human capital development, which he described as a key measure of true progress.
