The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (retd.), has praised President Bola Tinubu for his prompt and decisive intervention in the state’s political crisis earlier this year.
Speaking during the grand finale of the Niger Delta Development Commission’s (NDDC) 25th anniversary celebration in Port Harcourt on Saturday, Ibas described the President’s actions as timely and instrumental in restoring stability and governance in Rivers State.
He said, “We sincerely appreciate President Bola Tinubu for his steadfast commitment to peace and stability in Rivers State and the wider Niger Delta.
“His intervention was firm, timely, and reassuring. It reinforced governance and order in the state. The President continues to show strong political will towards regional development, equity, and national unity. We remain grateful.”
