The Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, led by AIG Zone 14 Katsina, has deployed extensive security arrangements in Daura and throughout the state to ensure a smooth and peaceful burial of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The command, under CP Bello Shehu, expressed deepest condolences to the government, people of Katsina, Buhari’s family, and the nation. In a statement by spokesman DSP Abubakar Sadiq, the police acknowledged Buhari’s significant contributions to Nigeria’s development.
Similarly, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Katsina, headed by Commandant Aminu Datti, announced the deployment of 2,807 operatives ahead of the burial. Commandant Datti revealed this during a meeting with senior command staff at the State Command Headquarters on Monday.
