President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently attending the 14th National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC), taking place at the State House in Abuja.
The meeting began around 2:10 p.m. and is being attended by key NEC members, including current and former governors, National Assembly leaders, and several senior and founding members of the ruling party.
Alongside President Tinubu, notable attendees include Vice President Kashim Shettima; Senate President Godswill Akpabio; Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas; and Deputy Speaker, Hon. Benjamin Kalu.
Others present are the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma; Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; as well as several other state governors.
Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the party’s Acting National Chairman, Ali Bukar Dalori, are also in attendance.
According to the meeting agenda shared with participants, one of the key highlights will be the swearing-in of a new APC National Chairman.
