The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the launch of the 2025 nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in preparation for the upcoming elections.
In a statement posted on its official X handle on Friday, INEC revealed that online pre-registration will begin on Monday, August 18, 2025, via its portal: cvr.inecnigeria.org.
The Commission also stated that physical registration will commence on Monday, August 25, 2025, at all INEC Local Government Area offices and designated registration centres across the country.
The registration exercise will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Mondays to Fridays.
INEC encouraged eligible Nigerians who have yet to register to seize this opportunity to do so.
