The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the 2025 Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) will begin on August 18.
According to a post on INEC’s official X handle, online pre-registration will open on that date via cvr.inecnigeria.org, while in-person registration at local government offices and designated centres nationwide will follow from August 25.
The exercise will run Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm.
INEC urged Nigerians: “Your vote starts with registration. Don’t miss your opportunity to register.”
