Olympic and world champion Noah Lyles has pulled out of the 100m semi-finals at the US Track and Field Championships in Oregon after winning his opening heat with a time of 10.05 seconds.
Although the event is a qualifier for the World Championships in Tokyo this September, Lyles already holds automatic qualification in the 100m and 200m as the reigning world champion.
Lyles, 28, confirmed he will still compete in all rounds of the 200m in Eugene.
