Nigeria’s First Lady and Chairperson of the Renewed Hope Initiative, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated ₦1 billion and a wide range of relief materials to support victims of recent disasters in Niger State.
The donation, announced during her visit to the Government House in Minna, includes 2,000 bags of 50kg rice, 16,000 wrappers, clothing, and over 100 pairs of shoes. It targets communities affected by floods, boat mishaps, fire outbreaks, and banditry.
“This gesture aligns with our mission to restore dignity, rebuild lives, and give hope to those suffering,” Mrs Tinubu said. She extended heartfelt condolences to families affected by the Mokwa flood, and other recent tragedies, assuring them of continued federal support.
“As a mother, I feel your pain. Together, we can bring comfort and relief to our people,” she added.
