The Lagos State Police Command has arraigned Wasiu Akinwande, popularly known as Olori Eso, on 11-count charges, including murder, illegal arms possession, and felony.
Akinwande, 44, described as a notorious hired killer and one of the most wanted criminals in the state, was arrested during a tactical raid tagged “Silence, Speed and Surprise” at his hideout in Agbado, Ogun State.
According to police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin, the suspect had long evaded arrest after terrorising Mushin and surrounding areas. He was arraigned at the Ogba Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
