Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has issued a stern warning regarding aviation safety and passenger conduct, following recent incidents of unruly behaviour onboard Nigerian flights.
The most recent case involved Ms. Comfort Bob, who allegedly assaulted airline staff on an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos. She has since been arraigned at the Ikeja Magistrates Court and remanded at Kirikiri Prisons for failing to meet bail conditions.
Keyamo condemned the circulation of a video showing her indecent exposure, ordering disciplinary action against any staff member responsible for leaking that footage. He also instructed airlines to prioritise staff training in conflict resolution and customer relations to prevent such incidents from escalating.
