The Senate of Lagos State University (LASU) has officially called off its strike following a resolution by its Joint Action Committee (JAC) after a meeting with Lagos Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.
In a statement by Deputy Registrar Thomas-Onashile Oluwayemisi, LASU announced that academic and social activities will resume from Wednesday, 13th August 2025. Students are to return to hostels across Ojo, Ikeja, and Epe campuses the same day.
The 2024/2025 Second Semester Examinations, earlier suspended, will now begin on Monday, 18th August 2025. Students are urged to prepare accordingly.
