A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the temporary freezing of four Jaiz Bank accounts associated with former NNPCL Group Managing Director, Mele Kyari, amid ongoing fraud investigations.
Justice Emeka Nwite granted the order on Tuesday following an ex parte motion filed by EFCC counsel, Ogechi Ujam. The judge ruled that the application had merit and approved the request.
After reviewing the evidence, Justice Nwite said the matter warranted further examination and adjourned the case to September 23 for a status update.
