At a press conference in Oye-Ekiti, ASUU Zonal Coordinator Adeola Oyebisi Egbedokun announced plans for rallies across Nigerian universities to pressure the Federal Government on unresolved demands.
Academic activities will be suspended during the protests.
ASUU’s NEC has given the government until August 28 to respond before deciding on further action.
Egbedokun warned, “For over two years, we have kept faith with dialogue… but our patience has reached its limit.”
