- Fake NAFDAC Number: A4-9566 (also used on other falsified products).
- Discovery: Made during a 2023–2025 Post-Marketing Surveillance exercise.
- Other affected products: A-tocin, Extocin, and Claxitodin injections.
Warning: These injections are unregistered and potentially harmful. Oxytocin is used in labour management and must only be sourced from verified channels.
