In a release by the Family’s Legal representative, Phyna’s sister passed away in the early hours of today.
She was involved in a severe accident with a Dangote truck in mid-August 2025 that led to the amputation of her leg.
Reports from the time stated that the Dangote Group pledged to cover her medical expenses and provide compensation, and the family was working to get her flown to India for further treatment.
Burial arrangements would be announced soon.
