Speaking on Tuesday at the State House, Abuja, while receiving a delegation led by Katsina Governor Dikko Radda, Tinubu emphasized that Nigeria’s security challenges are manageable.

He revealed that the Federal Government is considering the establishment of state police and upgrading forest guards to strengthen grassroots security, highlighting the importance of security forces familiar with local terrain and culture.

Tinubu also mandated daily security updates from the state and approved the acquisition of additional drones to enhance surveillance.

“The security challenges we are facing are surmountable. I have directed all security agencies to intensify efforts and revisit strategies,” the President stated.

His administration is reviewing all security aspects with a view to implementing holistic reforms, including the creation of state police units.
