President Bola Tinubu has hailed Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 59th birthday, describing him as a loyal and dependable partner in the mission to build a better Nigeria.
In a message shared by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu said, “I made no mistake choosing you as my deputy.”
“Today, September 2, 2025, presents me with another unique opportunity to celebrate you, my brother, partner, and Vice President,” the statement read.
He praised Shettima’s unwavering dedication since the beginning of their joint leadership journey, noting his “courage, sense of duty, tenacity, and belief in Nigeria’s greatness.”
Tinubu also highlighted Shettima’s legacy in public service — as a two-term governor of Borno State and later as a Senator representing Borno Central.
