UN condemns Borno massacre, calls for justice

The United Nations has strongly condemned the killing of 63 people, including 5 soldiers and 58 civilians, in a brutal attack by suspected Boko Haram insurgents in Darajamal village, Borno State.

UN Humanitarian Coordinator Mohamed Fall expressed deep sorrow over the incident, stating that “civilians should never be a target.” He called on Nigerian authorities to swiftly investigate the attack and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Over 28 houses were set ablaze, with several others injured and abducted. The full extent of the damage is still unfolding.
