Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has submitted a formal petition to the Police Service Commission (PSC), accusing officers within the Kaduna State Police Command of unprofessional conduct and violations of the Police Act, 2020.
In his letter, El-Rufai emphasized the need for accountability and discipline within the force, stating that the PSC must be kept aware of actions that could erode public trust.
He noted, “The Nigerian Police, despite its challenges, remains our frontline law enforcement agency. It is the duty of all citizens to support and hold it accountable.”
El-Rufai urged the Commission to take disciplinary action against officers who serve interests outside the law, stressing that effective policing can only be achieved through sound ethics and consistent oversight.
