President Bola Tinubu has mourned the passing of Leila Fowler, founder of Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls, who died at 92.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Tinubu described her death as a massive loss to the education sector, praising her as a visionary pioneer who empowered generations of young women.
He extended condolences to the Fowler family, including her son and former FIRS Chairman, Babatunde Fowler, as well as to the staff and students of her school.
Tinubu said her legacy would continue through the thousands of lives she transformed and prayed for her soul to rest in peace.
