Ogun State government issues new school guidelines

The Ogun State Government has introduced new rules to cut down on unnecessary spending in schools:

No More Extravagant Graduation Parties
Only pupils completing Primary 6, JSS3, and SS3 are eligible for graduation ceremonies — and these ceremonies must be simple and modest. This move aims to alleviate pressure on parents and redirect the focus back to academics.

No Frequent Textbook Changes
Schools are no longer allowed to change textbooks every academic year. Each textbook must be used for at least 6 years, helping parents save money and reducing waste.

A great move to make education more affordable and focused. Kudos to the Ogun State Government!
