President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, after ending his vacation earlier than planned.
This was confirmed in a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, who said the President is ready to resume official duties.
Tinubu had travelled to France on September 4 for part of his annual leave and was originally expected to spend time in both France and the UK.
While in Paris, he held a private meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace, where both leaders discussed bilateral relations and pledged to strengthen cooperation.
This marks Tinubu’s seventh trip to Paris since becoming president in May 2023, following previous international engagements including the BRICS summit and the TICAD9 conference in Japan.
