The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has set October 8, 2025, as the deadline for all State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, Agencies, Commissions, and licensed Hajj Tour Operators to remit payments for the 2026 Hajj.
This follows the earlier announcement of a provisional fare of N8.5 million, pending final negotiations on service contracts.
According to a statement by NAHCON spokesperson, Fatima Usara, the deadline aligns with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s operational calendar, which sets strict timelines for securing services like camps, transport, and accommodation.
The Commission’s Chairman, Prof. Abdullahi Usman, and other top officials are scheduled to travel to Saudi Arabia on September 22 to conclude agreements with service providers.
