Osun, Borno top INEC’s CVR chart as week 5 stats drop

As the 2027 elections approach, Osun State leads the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) with 678,904 registrants, according to INEC’s Week 5 update.

Borno State has now overtaken Lagos, coming in second with 561,666, while Lagos drops to third with 530,180. Ogun State follows with 427,455.

So far, 5,385,060 Nigerians have pre-registered online — 51.99% female, 48.1% male. Youths aged 18–34 make up the majority with 3.6 million, and PWDs account for 114,713.

The South East still trails in registration figures. Imo leads the zone with 63,306, while Anambra is temporarily paused due to its upcoming governorship election.
