More than 6.2 million Nigerians have completed online pre-registration for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), according to data released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Between September 22 and 28, 2025, a total of 6,232,673 people registered online. Of these, 52.15% (3,250,338) were female, and 47.85% (2,982,335) were male.
The data also revealed that 4,230,715 registrants were youths aged 18 to 34, 1,565,824 were students, and 137,865 were people with disabilities.
From September 22 to 26, 2025, 1,004,132 Nigerians completed registration either online or physically — 537,743 online and 466,389 physically. Among these, 55.28% (555,077) were females, 44.72% (449,055) were males, 742,379 were youths, 354,406 students, and 13,987 people with disabilities.
The Continuous Voter Registration began on August 18, 2025.
