President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed heartfelt condolences to the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, following the tragic passing of his son, Victor, and grandson, Abba Moro Jr.
In a statement released on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President described the loss as deeply heartbreaking, particularly given the youth of the deceased.
President Tinubu extended sympathy to Senator Moro, who represents Benue South Senatorial District (Zone C) in the National Assembly, as well as to his family, friends, and associates. He urged them to find comfort and strength in the positive and meaningful impact Victor and Abba Jr. had on those around them.
“Though their time on earth was brief, their lives were a blessing to many,” the President said, adding that their memory would continue to inspire those they touched.
President Tinubu offered prayers for the peaceful repose of their souls and asked that God grant the family the fortitude to bear such an immeasurable loss.
