The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded more than 95 per cent of results from Saturday’s Anambra governorship election on its Result Viewing Portal (IReV).
Data from the portal show steady progress in the electronic transmission of results from polling units across the 21 local government areas of the state.
According to the figures available on IReV, most polling units have successfully completed the upload process, demonstrating improved efficiency in the use of technology compared with previous elections.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that INEC has reiterated its commitment to a credible and transparent process, assuring that all uploaded results remain secured and verifiable.
Out of the 5,720 polling units listed on the portal, 5,472 have so far uploaded their results.
