Nigeria has intensified its drive to deepen global trade ties by participating in the Opening Plenary Session of the 11th World Halal Summit and Halal Expo 2025 in Türkiye.
The gathering convened ministers, investors, and industry stakeholders to discuss emerging prospects within the global halal economy.
On the sidelines of the event, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, held talks with Türkiye’s Minister of Trade and Investment, Prof. Dr. Omar Bolat, focusing on strengthening Nigeria–Türkiye trade cooperation and improving market access for Nigerian goods.
The Federal Government reiterated its dedication to sustainable investment, value-added production, and export expansion as part of efforts to drive national economic growth and unlock new development opportunities.
