Police confirm officer’s death

Spike in attacks on police personnel
The latest incident adds to the growing list of violent attacks targeting police officers in recent weeks.

Similarly, another police officer was confirmed dead in the Federal Capital Territory after confronting gunmen who attempted to abduct residents.
