The Edo State House of Assembly has summoned the lawmaker representing Egor Constituency, Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, to appear before its Committee on Ethics and Privileges within one week.
Osawaru — who is married to music star Innocent “2Baba” Idibia — is expected to respond to allegations of misconduct, following the circulation of multiple viral videos portraying her in a negative light.
The committee has been directed to investigate the matter and submit its findings to the House within two weeks.
The lawmaker has dominated social media conversations in recent days after a video showing her in a heated altercation with her husband went viral, drawing widespread reactions, particularly from 2Baba’s fans.
