Rob Reiner and Wife Michele Found Dead in Los Angeles Home; Son Allegedly Involved

Veteran filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Reiner, were found dead in their Los Angeles home on Sunday, December 14, according to multiple sources cited by PEOPLE magazine. The couple were reportedly discovered by their daughter, Romy Reiner.

Emergency calls were received by the Los Angeles Fire Department at approximately 3:30 p.m., prompting first responders to the residence, where they found a man and a woman deceased. Authorities later identified the victims as Rob and Michele Reiner.

Sources familiar with the investigation told PEOPLE that the couple were allegedly killed by their son, Nick Reiner. Law enforcement officials have not yet released full details of the circumstances surrounding the deaths, and investigations are ongoing.
