The Nigerian Air Force has confirmed the safe arrival of its C-130 aircraft (NAF 913) at the OGMA maintenance facility in Lisbon, Portugal, on December 26, 2025, for scheduled depot maintenance.
The ferry flight was completed in accordance with an updated flight plan, transiting through Banjul and Casablanca while adhering strictly to established aviation safety procedures.
A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, confirmed that both the aircraft and its crew arrived without incident, marking the final stage of the aircraft’s movement for the maintenance exercise.
All personnel are reported to be safe and in high spirits. The Nigerian Air Force expressed appreciation to host authorities for their cooperation throughout the transit and reaffirmed its commitment to the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational accountability.
