Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has inaugurated five newly appointed Special Advisers, reaffirming his administration’s determination to move forward decisively and reclaim lost ground.
The swearing-in ceremony, held at the Government House, saw the governor stress that his administration possesses the resilience and resolve needed to deliver on its mandate to the people.
Governor Fubara explained that the appointments were aimed at strengthening governance and enhancing the efficiency of his administration. He noted that the new advisers are not unfamiliar with government operations, adding that their previous experience places them in a strong position to understand the vision, philosophy, and objectives of his leadership.
According to the governor, their familiarity with the system would help eliminate delays in performance assessment and ensure the timely achievement of set goals.
He charged the appointees to approach their duties with a deep sense of responsibility, cautioning that the positions should be seen not as privileges but as calls to dedicated service. Fubara expressed confidence in their ability to deliver, noting that they had distinguished themselves in past public service roles.
The governor further urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them and not to disappoint the government or the people of Rivers State as they work to fulfil the administration’s social contract with citizens.
Those sworn in as Special Advisers are Eloka Tasie-Amadi, Peter Medee, Emmanuel Fubara, Victor Ekaro, and Darlington Oji.
