The National Sports Commission (NSC) has expressed deep sorrow following the tragic passing of Mr. Sunday Ndidi, the father of Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi. Mr. Ndidi died in a motor accident, sending shockwaves through the Nigerian football community on Tuesday.
In a statement signed by Kehinde Ajayi, Director of Information and Public Relations at the NSC, Director-General Bukola Olopade described the loss as “shocking,” noting the close bond Wilfred Ndidi shared with his father, who played a pivotal role in shaping his son’s football career and personal discipline.
