Nollywood actress Aunty Ajara, popularly known for her diminutive stature and vibrant screen presence, has died after a prolonged battle with liver disease.
The actress had been unwell for some time, and just last week, her colleagues appealed to the public for financial support to assist with her medical treatment.
Earlier in the week, fellow actress Mama Nonetwork disclosed that Aunty Ajara’s health condition had continued to deteriorate. She also revealed that the actress was pregnant, a discovery made in December. According to her, Aunty Ajara had been advised to seek urgent medical care due to the risks posed by her fragile health.
Sadly, news of her passing was confirmed this morning, bringing an end to the actress’s courageous struggle and leaving colleagues and fans in mourning.
